OneSky draws from AGI’s suite of software products to provide air navigation services including airspace management, real-time flight monitoring, and collision avoidance. The OneSky subsidiary will further expand AGI’s analytical technology in the air domain analogous to its ComSpOC LLC, which provides commercial Space Situational Awareness services and space traffic management solutions.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to apply AGI’s proven technology to accelerate the adoption of commercial UAS operations” said Paul Graziani, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of AGI. “There is a direct alignment of our situational awareness and decision support capabilities with the technical needs of UAS traffic management.”
AGI’s UAS team drew from its extensive experiences working within the UAS community to institute OneSky services. AGI is an active member in the Small UAV Coalition, the Global UTM Association, AUVSI, and has a Space Act Agreement with NASA in support of their UTM prototype effort involving over 200 industry stakeholders. In an effort to accelerate the timeline of the commercial UTM software, OneSky will add additional strategic partners.
AGI develops commercial modeling and analysis software for land, sea, air and space systems which is used by more than 50,000 engineers, operators and analysts worldwide. AGI is leveraging almost 30 years of situational awareness software development to expand its foray into UTM services. For more information, visit www.agi.com/utm.
